Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedAlbacete (8-4) beat at home 9th ranked Azulejos (5-7) 70-62 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American forward Nick Reid (201-2002, college: Upper Iowa) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Guard Jose Albadalejo (192-1994) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Eduard Gatell (206-1989) who recorded 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Daniel Samatan (-2003, agency: BIG) added 11 points respectively. Azulejos' coach Victor Rubio rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Albacete moved-up to third place, which they share with 5 other teams. Newly promoted Azulejos keeps the ninth position with seven games lost. They share it with Caceres and Benicarlo.
