Primera FEB top team -Coruna (12-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixteenth ranked Cartagena (2-10) 89-80 . 24 personal fouls committed by Cartagena helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Italian-American guard Paul Jorgensen (188-1996, college: Butler) who helped to win the game recording 25 points. Senegalese power forward Abdou Thiam (210-1998, agency: Helping Ballers) contributed with 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winners. Four Coruna players scored in double figures. Brazilian center Vitor Faverani (212-1988) answered with 18 points and 9 rebounds and American-Czech Spencer Svejcar (190-1994, college: Alaska-Anch., agency: Helping Ballers) added 13 points in the effort for Cartagena. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Coruna have an impressive series of twelve victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-0 record. Cartagena lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with ten games lost. They share it with Palma BM.
