Regular Season Round 12: IDK Euskotren - Leganes 60-73

There was a surprise result when tenth rankedLeganes (5-7) defeated higher ranked IDK Euskotren (7-5) in San Sebastian 73-60 on Saturday. Leganes made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Maya Dodson (191-1999, college: Notre Dame) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and Slovakian Nikola Dudasova (177-1995) supported her with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Leganes' coach Javier Fort used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds by did not help to save the game for IDK Euskotren . Canadian forward Yvonne Ejim (185-2002, college: Gonzaga) added 10 points and 8 rebounds. Five Leganes and four IDK Euskotren players scored in double figures. Leganes have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Ferrol and Joventut. IDK Euskotren lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with five games lost.
