We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 11th rankedFuenlabrada (5-7) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Menorca (6-7) 80-70 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was Argentinian-Italian point guard Fernando Zurbriggen (185-1997) who scored 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American guard Spencer Littleson (193-1998, college: Toledo) chipped in 17 points. Power forward Ivan Aurrecoechea (204-1995, college: NM State) produced 21 points and 8 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and Argentinian-Italian guard Mateo Diaz (186-2002) added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Menorca moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Oviedo and Cantabria. Loser Fuenlabrada dropped to the thirteenth position with seven games lost.
