We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 8th rankedFerrol (7-8) lost on the road to ninth ranked Leganes (7-8) 78-73 on Wednesday. It was an exceptional evening for Mali forward Aminata Sangare (186-2002) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds. American forward Maya Dodson (191-1999, college: Notre Dame) accounted for 14 points and 6 rebounds for the winning side. Irish forward Claire Melia (190-1999, college: St.Joseph's) came up with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Blanca Millan (185-1998, college: Maine) added 10 points respectively for Ferrol in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Leganes moved-up to seventh place, which they share with IDK Euskotren and Ferrol.
