LF Challenge top team -AzulMarino (15-0) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed tenth ranked NBF Castello (5-10) in Palma de Mallorca 78-54 . AzulMarino forced 19 NBF Castello turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by NBF Castello 's players. It was a quality performance for Ugandan forward Jane Asinde (188-1999, college: UTEP) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Power forward Gedna Capel (185-2002) accounted for 16 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. American center Gianna Aiello (193, college: Brown) came up with 11 points and 9 rebounds and Chilean point guard Sendy Basaez (173-1996) added 11 points and 7 rebounds respectively for NBF Castello in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifteenth consecutive win for AzulMarino . They maintain first place with 15-0 record. NBF Castello at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Lima-Horta.
