Very important is a road loss of third rankedEstudiantes (11-4) against eighth ranked Palma Fibwi (8-7) on Sunday night. Visiting Estudiantes was defeated by Palma Fibwi in a tough game in S'Arenal 76-80 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Estudiantes. Palma Fibwi made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Strangely Estudiantes outrebounded Palma Fibwi 31-18 including 25 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Lysander Bracey (193-1996, college: Hampton) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and guard Alessandro Scariolo (190-2001, college: OBU) who added 10 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Five Palma Fibwi players scored in double figures. At the losing side Nigerian-American power forward Lotanna Nwogbo (205-1993, college: Longwood) responded with 19 points and 9 rebounds and Polish-Argentinian Juan Pablo Vaulet (199-1996) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Estudiantes' coach Toni Ten tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Palma Fibwi moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Menorca. Estudiantes at the other side keeps the third position with four games lost.
