Everything went according to plan in Malaga where eighth rankedUnicaja (10-6) won against bottom-ranked Coviran Granada (1-15) 88-79 on Saturday. Unicaja outrebounded Granada 43-26 including 17 on the offensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Montenegrin point guard Kendrick Perry (183-1992, college: YSU) who helped to win the game recording 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and the former international Tyson Perez (202-1996) who added 7 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Unicaja's coach Ibon Navarro used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side French point guard Mehdy-Sofian Ngouama (188-1995, college: Alabama St., agency: Network Sports International) responded with 23 points and the former international point guard Lluis Costa (187-1993, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 14 points. Unicaja moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Joventut. Granada lost tenth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 15 games lost.
