The game in Menorca was also quite interesting. 6th rankedGipuzkoa (9-7) played at the court of seventh ranked Menorca (9-7). Menorca managed to secure a 7-point victory 71-64 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the eight-game winning streak of Gipuzkoa. The best player for the winners was American-Haitian forward Nico Galette (198-2002, college: YSU) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Argentinian-Italian point guard Fernando Zurbriggen (185-1997) chipped in 14 points and 5 rebounds. Senegalese center Tanor Ngom (216-1998, college: FSU) produced 16 points and 8 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and American guard Jalen Tate (198-1998, college: Arkansas) added 9 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Menorca have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with defeated Gipuzkoa.
