Not a big story in a game when 7th rankedNovaschool (8-7) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Melilla (10-5) 99-92 on Saturday. It was a great evening for forward Cristian Palomares (198-2005, college: Lawrence Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. Jesus Cerisuelo (-1998) helped adding 11 points and 15 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Emilio Trujillo with 24 points and 6 rebounds and Juan Martin scored 15 points and 8 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Five Melilla and four Novaschool players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Melilla moved-up to second place, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Novaschool dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with 6 other teams.
