There was an upset in Palencia where higher rankedIndautxu (6-9) was defeated by fourteenth ranked Filipenses (1-14) 96-90 on Saturday. Filipenses made 32-of-41 free shots (78.0 percent) during the game, while Indautxu only scored sixteen points from the stripe. It was a great evening for Senegalese center Mamadou Diagne (208-1998) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds. Four Filipenses and five Indautxu players scored in double figures. Indautxu's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Filipenses maintains fourteenth place with 1-14 record, which they share with Quart. Loser Indautxu dropped to the seventh position with nine games lost. They share it with 15 other teams.
