There was no surprise when 9th rankedGran Canaria 2 (6-8) was edged on the road by sixth ranked Bonita (9-5) 73-72 on Saturday. Bonita outrebounded Gran Canaria 2 47-34 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for Serbian center Marta Vulovic (198-2000) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). point guard Belen Armengol (170-1992) helped adding 10 points and 5 rebounds. Bonita's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Mali center Lala Toure (186-2008) with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds and forward Trinity Ezeanatogu (180-2009) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 12 rebounds. Bonita have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Cortegada. Loser Gran Canaria 2 keeps the ninth position with eight games lost.
