Very predictable result when second rankedRivas (12-4) rolled over at home 10th ranked Pintobasket (6-10) 100-68 on Saturday. Rivas dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Pintobasket 's 30. Rivas forced 26 Pintobasket turnovers. Strangely Pintobasket outrebounded Rivas 32-20 including a 13-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Rivas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. The winners were led by Adrian Perez (198-2003) who scored that evening 17 points and power forward Alvaro Biersack (198-1995) supported him with 21 points. Five Rivas players scored in double figures. Even 14 points and 5 rebounds by center Miguel Alarcon (200-2003) did not help to save the game for Pintobasket . Lucas Bermejo added 8 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Rivas maintains second position with 12-4 record having just two points less than leader Mollerussa, which they share with 7 other teams. Loser Pintobasket dropped to the seventh place with ten games lost. They share the position with 11 other teams.
