Everything went according to plan in Malaga where third rankedUnicaja (15-3) beat 8th ranked ISB (8-10) 83-66 on Saturday. Unicaja looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Elena Moreno (183-2004) who scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Sofia Galeron (188-1999, college: FAU) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. Four Unicaja players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Samoan guard Geraldynn Leaupepe (179-1996, college: Cal Poly) who recorded 16 points and swingman Jone Azcue (180-1995) added 12 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Unicaja have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 15-3 record having just two points less than leader AzulMarino. Loser ISB dropped to the ninth place with ten games lost.
