There was no surprise in Sevilla where 5th rankedSan Fernando (10-8) was defeated by third ranked Gymnastica (12-6) 70-60 on Thursday. Center Alvaro Castillo (204-2000) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Cuban guard Raudelis Guerra (191-1993) chipped in 16 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was Jose Ruiz (200-1997) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and forward Jesus Remesal (194-1995) scored 11 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Gymnastica have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Rivas and Zentro Basket. Loser San Fernando dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. They share it with Dist.Olimpico.
