There was a minor upset in Madrid where 8th rankedGetafe (9-10) was defeated by eleventh ranked Sol Girones (8-11) 75-65 on Saturday. Sol Girones looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for center Mikhail Mikhailov (206-2002, college: CUI) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Nigerian-British guard Ade Adebayo (196, college: UC Davis) helped adding 20 points and 10 rebounds. At the losing side swingman Guillermo Mulero (191-1997) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Alejandro Montero (185-2003) scored 13 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sol Girones moved-up to ninth place, which they share with La Leonesa and Azulejos. Loser Getafe keeps the eighth position with ten games lost. They share it with Clavijo.
