There was a small surprise when sixth rankedValls (10-9) edged on the road 4th placed Igualada (11-8) 82-80 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Equatorial Guinean power forward Oscar Ngomo (201-1990) who led the winners and scored 20 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Adria Trouve (195-2000) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. Four Valls players scored in double figures. Valls' coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Center Marc Bernadi (205-1993) came up with 16 points and 7 rebounds and Carles Fons (189-1991) added 18 points respectively for Igualada in the defeat. Valls maintains sixth place with 10-9 record, which they share with 8 other teams. Loser Igualada dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with San Fernando.
