There was no surprise when 12th rankedZamora (9-13) was defeated on the road by third ranked Zunder Palencia (16-6) 77-66 on Friday. Palencia forced 20 Zamora turnovers. The best player for the winners was Swedish point guard Tobias Borg (184-1993) who scored 18 points. Serbian forward Mladen Armus (208-1997, college: Boise St.) chipped in 7 points and 11 rebounds. American guard Colby Rogers (190-2001, college: Memphis) produced 9 points and 6 rebounds and Senegalese forward Omar Lo (206-1997, college: CBU, agency: Octagon Europe) added 10 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the seventh consecutive win for Zunder Palencia . They maintain third place with 16-6 record having five points less than leader Coruna. Loser Zamora dropped to the eleventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Palma Fibwi and Cantabria.
