Sixth-rankedCanarias (11-11) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked Casademont (15-7) in Zaragoza on Friday. Casademont managed to secure only three-point victory 86-83 . However their fans expected easier game. Zaragoza U22 dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Canarias 's 38. Zaragoza U22 outrebounded Canarias U22 41-30 including 19 on the offensive glass. Zaragoza U22 looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for Mali center Youssouf Traore (207-2006) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds. Cuban center Anthony Rodriguez (212-2006) helped adding 18 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). At the losing side Argentinian guard Dylan Bordon (190-2004) responded with 22 points and 9 assists and forward David Acosta (203-2004) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Zaragoza U22 moved-up to third place. Canarias U22 lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 11 games lost.
