The game had a very big importance for second-rankedUCAM as it allowed them to take a leadership position. UCAM smashed 7th ranked Granada U22 in Murcia 108-83 . Murcia U22 forced 22 Granada U22 turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. Murcia U22 players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Brazilian Joao Neves (200-2008) who helped to win the game recording 15 points. Czech center Samuel Nohel (205-2008) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Senegalese Gaye Ababacar (-2007) answered with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds and Luca Medal (-2006) added 9 points and 7 assists in the effort for Granada U22. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Granada U22 lost seventeenth consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with 17 games lost.
