There was a minor upset when 4th placed Castelldefels (12-9) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Valls (12-9) 87-79 on Sunday. Forward Adria Trouve (195-2000) stepped up and scored 19 points and 4 assists for the winners and power forward Arnau Rosa (198-2005) chipped in 21 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Five Valls players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Pol Saiz (191-2002) with 24 points and guard Pol Mulio (192-2002) scored 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. Castelldefels' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Valls have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 7 other teams including defeated Castelldefels. Valls will meet at home higher ranked L'Hospitalet (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Castelldefels will play against Igualada and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
