We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams when 9th ranked Viladecans (11-11) was outscored on the road by tenth ranked Plasencia (9-13) 69-49 on Saturday. Plasencia made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game, while Viladecans only scored two points from the stripe. American swingman Sydney Brown (186-1999, college: UCSD) notched 14 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and French Pauline Laurenson supported her with 11 points and 4 assists. Four Plasencia players scored in double figures. Even 13 points by swingman Paula Curto (175-1997) did not help to save the game for Viladecans.
