There was a surprise result when thirteenth rankedTelde (8-14) won against higher ranked Mensajero (11-11) in Santa Cruz 80-70 on Saturday. Arturo Fernandez (193-1995) notched 9 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the effort and Alberto Vidal (-2001) supported him with 19 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!). Even 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists by Daniel Rodriguez (-2005) did not help to save the game for Mensajero . Senegalese forward Mor Niang (206-1999) added 12 points and 5 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Telde moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Mensajero dropped to the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
