There was a surprise result when fifteenth rankedPalma BM (6-17) edged higher ranked Cantabria (9-14) in Llucmajor 86-83 on Sunday. Palma BM made 18-of-22 free shots (81.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Cantabria outrebounded Palma BM 37-23 including 27 on the defensive glass. British-Canadian guard Philip Scrubb (194-1992, college: Carleton, agency: Octagon Europe) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 assists for the winning side and forward Jesus Carralero (201-2000, college: BCU) accounted for 15 points. Slovenian guard Miha Lapornik (194-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) came up with 20 points and Chinese center Jiahao Yu (221-2003) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Cantabria in the defeat. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Palma BM moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with Cartagena. Loser Cantabria keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. They share it with Zamora.
