Everything went according to plan when fifth rankedTorrent (15-6) outplayed 9th ranked Ontinet (8-12) in Ontinyent 95-67 on Sunday. Torrent forced 26 Ontinet turnovers and outrebounded them 42-31 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Torrent looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Ontinet 's players. Forward Alejandro Terrades (196-2001) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the effort and naturalized Polish Emilio Llacer (-2006) supported him with 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Torrent players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 8 rebounds by Chadian center Placide Nakidjim (205-1994) did not help to save the game for Ontinet . Power forward Jose Santonja (200-1992) added 14 points for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Torrent moved-up to third place. Ontinet lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 12 games lost.
