Another interesting game forOviedo (13-11) which hosted 4th placed Gipuzkoa (15-9). Eighth ranked Oviedo had an easy win 90-71 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Gipuzkoa. Oviedo forced 19 Gipuzkoa turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American guard Gregory Parham (193-1999, college: USA) stepped up and scored 27 points and 5 assists for the winners and forward Alonso Faure (208-2002, college: Pepperdine) chipped in 12 points and 7 rebounds. At the losing side American swingman Tyler McGhie (196, college: UCSD) responded with 18 points and Georgian power forward Giorgi Korsantia (207-1998) scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Oviedo . They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Alicante. Gipuzkoa at the other side dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost.
