Not a big story in a game when 10th rankedLa Zubia (8-15) was outplayed on the road by fifth ranked Melilla (15-8) 109-81 on Saturday. Melilla forced 25 La Zubia turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Farid Chekri who helped to win the game recording 16 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots) and guard Sergio Curbelo (184-2003) who added 17 points during the contest. Five Melilla players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was center Jorge Rodriguez (202-1994) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Devin Wright (200-1986) scored 16 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Melilla maintains fifth position with 15-8 record, which they share with Paterna and Es Castell. Loser La Zubia keeps the tenth place with 15 games lost.
