There was no surprise in Amorebieta-Echano where 8th rankedTolosa (12-12) was defeated by first ranked Zornotza (23-1) 86-82 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Zornotza outrebounded Tolosa 40-23 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Mouhamadou Ndiaye (202-2003) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and forward Borja Mendia (200-1994) who added 14 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Zornotza's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Urko Perez (-2004) with 28 points and 8 rebounds and Euken Huizi (-2002) scored 16 points. Zornotza have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 23-1 record, which they share with Prat. Tolosa lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the seventh place with 12 games lost. They share the position with Carbajosa and Almassera.
