There was an upset when second-bestTarragona (20-4) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Valls (13-11) 80-75 on Saturday. Valls forced 20 Tarragona turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Equatorial Guinean power forward Oscar Ngomo (201-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and forward Adria Trouve (195-2000) who added 16 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward David Loras (204-2002) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Marc Buscail (204-2003) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. Four Tarragona players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Valls moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Tarragona still keeps top position with four games lost. They share it with Marin and La Roda.
