No shocking result in a game when fourth rankedEl Pinar (16-7) smashed at home 8th ranked Murgi (11-13) 100-65 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Dutch Jonathan Verkerk (198-2003) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds and guard Luis Miguel Moreno (192-1989) who added 14 points during the contest. Four El Pinar players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Ivorian swingman Kehasson Manu Oulai (203-1995, college: Chaffey CC) with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds and Argentinian point guard Alan Moreno (185-1997, agency: BIG) scored 12 points and 9 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. El Pinar have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Tijola. Murgi lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with 13 games lost. They share it with 8 other teams.
