There was no surprise in S'Arenal where 13th rankedPalma Fibwi (9-17) was crushed by second ranked Monbus Obradoiro (22-3) 87-63 on Sunday. Obradoiro forced 19 Palma Fibwi turnovers. It was a great evening for American-Cuban swingman Yunio Barrueta (196-1993, college: Barry, agency: BIG) who led his team to a victory scoring 15 points and 7 rebounds. Brazilian center Felipe Dos Anjos (218-1998) helped adding 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Monbus Obradoiro players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Italian-Uruguayan point guard Lucas Capalbo (175-2000, college: Odessa JC) with 11 points and 4 assists and American-Puerto Rican guard Brian Vazquez (190-1994) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Monbus Obradoiro have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. They maintain second place with 22-3 record having just three points less than leader Coruna. Palma Fibwi lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with 17 games lost.
