Not a big story in a game when 12th rankedCantabria (10-16) lost to first ranked Coruna (25-2) in Torrelavega 79-88 on Saturday. Coruna outrebounded Cantabria 40-29 including 26 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by Brazilian point guard Caio Pacheco (189-1999) who scored that evening 17 points and 6 assists and American guard Joe Cremo (193-1996, college: Villanova) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even a double-double of 11 points and 10 assists by American guard Reginald Johnson (187-1994, college: Hampton, agency: Helping Ballers) did not help to save the game for Cantabria . Slovenian guard Miha Lapornik (194-1993, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 21 points for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Coruna have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 25-2 record. Loser Cantabria keeps the twelfth place with 16 games lost.
