There was a minor upset in Castellon where 9th rankedGetafe (10-14) was defeated by eleventh ranked Benicarlo (8-16) 73-65 on Sunday. Benicarlo looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was guard Aleix Haro (189-2001) who had a double-double by scoring 11 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists. Center Adrian Sanchez (204-2001) chipped in 8 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Guinean Jose Antonio Maleva (-2005) who recorded 11 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Alejandro Montero (185-2003) added 16 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Benicarlo maintains eleventh position with 8-16 record, which they share with LBC Cocinas. Getafe lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with 14 games lost. They share the position with La Leonesa and Sol Girones.
