Everything went according to plan when fourth rankedTijola (17-7) outplayed at home 13th ranked Fuengirola (5-20) 98-45 on Saturday. Tijola dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Fuengirola 's 30. Tijola forced 23 Fuengirola turnovers and outrebounded them 56-34 including a 25-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tijola looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Point guard Luis Rueda (186-1996) nailed 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winning side and Chadian center Edmond Koyanouba (209-1995) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds. Five Tijola players scored in double figures. Latvian forward Arturs Krasts (200-2000) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and guard Adrian Mayor (193-1996) added 8 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Fuengirola in the defeat.
