Very important is a road loss of third rankedValencia (21-6) against eleventh ranked IDK Euskotren (12-16) on Saturday night. Visiting Valencia was defeated by IDK Euskotren in San Sebastian 69-57 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Valencia. IDK Euskotren forced 20 Valencia turnovers. The winners were led by American-Ugandan guard Paige Robinson (178-2000, college: Illinois St.) who scored that evening 18 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Maria Erauncetamurgil (176-1998) supported her with 8 points and 9 rebounds. Even 12 points by international center Awa Fam Thiam (192-2006) did not help to save the game for Valencia . The former international guard Leticia Romero (173-1995, college: FSU) added 10 points for lost side. Valencia's coach Ruben Burgos rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. IDK Euskotren moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Estudiantes. Defending champion Valencia keeps the third position with six games lost.
