There was no surprise in Murcia where 15th ranked Araski (9-19) was defeated by fifth ranked Jairis (17-11) 61-54 on Sunday. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Jairis made 7 blocks. Belgian center Billie Massey (184-2000) fired a double-double by scoring 15 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American forward Morgan Bertsch (193-1997, college: UC Davis, agency: LBM Management) chipped in 12 points and 6 rebounds. Canadian center Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder (193-1995, college: Arizona St.) produced 13 points and Canadian guard Samantha Hill (177-1994, college: Virginia Tech) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Jairis moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Avenida. Loser Araski keeps the fifteenth position with 19 games lost.
