Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Tabernes (11-14) defeated on the road 12th ranked Castello B (5-19) 78-60 on Sunday. Tabernes had a 29-16 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Victor Mas nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points and 13 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side and guard Sergio Vidal (194-1988) accounted for 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Tabernes players scored in double figures. Jose Maria Torres (187-2002) came up with 18 points and Manel Lara (-2006) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Castello B in the defeat.
