A very close game took place in Malaga betweenAraski and Estepona . Fourteenth ranked Araski (11-19) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked Estepona (14-16). Araski managed to escape with a 3-point win 77-74 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Estepona. They outrebounded Estepona 39-26 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Araski looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Canadian center Quinn Urbaniak-Dornstauder (193-1995, college: Arizona St.) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and power forward Noa Morro (190-2004) supported her with 13 points and 10 rebounds. Even a double-double of 13 points, 8 rebounds, 13 assists and 4 steals by Argentinian point guard Melisa Gretter (166-1993) did not help to save the game for Estepona . point guard Claudia Contell (177-2003) added 16 points and 6 steals. Five Araski and four Estepona players scored in double figures. Araski moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Cadi La Seu and Joventut. Newly promoted Estepona keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Ferrol.
