No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedUppsala (5-5) beat at home 9th ranked Mark (2-9) 54-49 . Uppsala forced 19 Mark turnovers. Strangely Mark outrebounded Uppsala 47-34 including 33 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Tylinn Carter (185-1995, college: Pepperdine) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 17 rebounds and guard Mikaela Ekdahl (170-1997, college: Omaha) who added 18 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Linn Larsson (178-1999) with 14 points and 6 rebounds and German power forward Merit Brennecke (188-2000) scored 6 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Uppsala maintains sixth position with 5-5 record. Mark lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Visby. Uppsala will play against league's second-placed Hogsbo in Goteborg in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mark will have a break next round.
