Regular Season Round 12: Visby - AIK Basket 64-83

Rather expected game when 9th ranked Visby (2-9) was smashed at home by seventh ranked AIK Basket (4-5) 83-64. AIK Basket outrebounded Visby 41-23 including a 32-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Tiffany Brown (168-1986, college: Georgia South) who helped to win the game recording 23 points, 6 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals and guard Sandra Hansson (182-1994) who added 10 points and 15 rebounds during the contest. Four AIK Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Czech point guard Nela Netkova (194-2004) with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Morgan Haney (173, college: Akron) scored 12 points and 5 assists. AIK Basket maintains seventh position with 4-5 record. Visby lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Mark. AIK Basket will play against higher ranked Alvik Basket (#5) in Stockholm in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Visby will play on the road against Sodertalje (#4) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
