Important game to mention about took place in Ostersund. Eighth rankedJamtland (11-15) saved a 1-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Norrkoping (18-7) 102-101 on Tuesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Jamtland made 27-of-31 charity shots (87.1 percent) during the game. American players dominated the game. Guard Akili Vining (188-1999, college: UT Arlington) stepped up and scored 23 points and 8 assists for the winners and Bennett Vander Plas (202-1998, college: Virginia, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five Jamtland players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Marcus Tyus (185-1994, college: Omaha) responded with 35 points (!!!) and guard Devonte Green (190-1997, college: Indiana) scored 20 points. Jamtland maintains eighth place with 11-15 record. Defending champion Norrkoping keeps the second position with seven games lost.
