Twelfth-rankedJamtland 2 (7-17) was very close to win a game against first ranked Eskilstuna (22-2) on Sunday. Eskilstuna managed to secure only three-point victory 116-113 . However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Jamtland 2. Eskilstuna made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Adam Karahmetovic (189-1998) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points, 7 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals. Elisha Ninkingira (-2004) contributed with 29 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Forward Yoel Weldegergis (205-2005) answered with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 10 rebounds and guard Hannes Widell (183-1994) added 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Jamtland 2. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Eskilstuna have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-2 record, which they share with Trelleborg. Jamtland 2 at the other side dropped to the eleventh position with 17 games lost. They share it with Onsala.
