There was no surprise whenUmea (0-3) was defeated at home by Norrkoping (3-0) 93-88 on Saturday. Norrkoping shot 26 for 35 from the free-throw line, while Umea only scored ten points from the stripe. They outrebounded Umea 42-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for American forward Ryker Cisarik (206, college: Nova SE) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Zach Harvey (198-2001, college: UCSB, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 17 points and 7 rebounds. Five Norrkoping players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Australian center Glenn Morison (208-1999, college: St.Edward's) with 32 points and guard Isac Ahnstrand (188-2002, college: Converse) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 9 rebounds and 10 assists. Umea's coach Torbjorn Gehrke rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
