There was no surprise when 11th rankedKoping Stars (2-12) were crushed at home by third ranked BC Lulea (10-4) 109-71 on Friday. BC Lulea dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Koping Stars ' 40. BC Lulea forced 19 Koping Stars turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Antonio Daye Jr (185-2000, college: Coastal) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international point guard Gustav Hansson (185-1995) helped adding 19 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Romeo Myrthil (188-2002, college: Dartmouth) with 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Guinean-American forward Sekou Sylla (195-2000, college: Towson) scored 14 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. BC Lulea maintains third place with 10-4 record behind leader Norrkoping. Koping Stars lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 12 games lost.
