There was a surprise result when tenth ranked Fryshuset 2 (6-10) beat higher ranked Kungsholmen (11-8) in Stockholm 90-84 on Saturday. Elias Abdi (-2007) notched 23 points to lead the effort and Elias Englund supported him with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Four Fryshuset 2 players scored in double figures. Even 30 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals by forward Rio Davet (198-2008) did not help to save the game for Kungsholmen. Gustav Ekstedt (-2007) added 13 points. Kungsholmen's coach Victor Holmberg rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Fryshuset 2 maintains tenth position with 6-10 record. Loser Kungsholmen keeps the fourth place with eight games lost. Fryshuset 2 will meet higher ranked Uppsala (#7) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Kungsholmen will have a break next round.
