Not a big story in a game when 9th ranked Lobas (9-12) were defeated on the road by fifth ranked Bankeryds (14-9) 84-78 on Saturday. However just six-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bankeryds forced 23 Lobas turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Torbjoern Svensson fired a double-double by scoring 15 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Guard Marcus Homelius (185-1994) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Karl Svensson (-2006) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists and Enid Becarevic (-2006) added 18 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals respectively for lost side. Five Bankeryds and four Lobas players scored in double figures. Bankeryds moved-up to fourth place. Loser Lobas keep the ninth position with 12 games lost. Bankeryds will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Lobas will play against Team4Q (#8) in Helsingborg and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
