There was no surprise when 9th rankedVastra (10-15) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Bankeryds (15-9) 88-75 on Saturday. Bankeryds forced 19 Vastra turnovers and outrebounded them 45-28 including a 22-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. Bankeryds looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for guard Kristoffer Groenhage (187-1992) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Torbjoern Svensson helped adding 18 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Bankeryds players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Brolin Bukasa (-2007) with 16 points and Victor Nilsson scored 11 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bankeryds have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 15-9 record. Loser Vastra dropped to the tenth position with 15 games lost.
