There was no surprise in Malmo where 7th rankedIK Eos (14-12) were outplayed by first ranked Malbas (19-7) 83-61 on Wednesday. Malbas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to IK Eos ' 28. Malbas forced 20 IK Eos turnovers and outrebounded them 40-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. Malbas looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by IK Eos ' players. The best player for the winners was guard Kasper Hagberg (186-1998) who scored 8 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Oliver Stefanovic (193-2005, college: Malone) chipped in 10 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists.
