Anadolu Efes used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Trabzon 70-66 on Sunday night. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Trabzonspor was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Croatian forward Dario Saric (204-94, agency: Beo Basket) had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian center Nenad Krstic (212-83, agency: Beo Basket) chipped in 15 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Serbian forward Novica Velickovic (205-86, agency: Beo Basket) responded with 13 points and 8 rebounds and Croatian-Bosnian center Andrija Stipanovic (209-86, agency: Beo Basket) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Trabzonspor players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Anadolu Efes will meet Tofas in the next round where they are favorite. Trabzonspor will play against Fenerbahce Ulker and hope to win that game.
