An interesting game took place in Istanbul where higher ranked Galatasaray (13-12) was upset on its own court by twelfth ranked Trabzonspor (11-14) 93-80. The game without a history. Trabzonspor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three nailing 17 long-distance shots on high 56.7 percentage. Five Trabzonspor and four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Trabzonspor moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Istanbul BSB. Galatasaray lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost. Trabzonspor's next round opponent will be Istanbul BSB (#12) at home. Galatasaray will play against Tofas (#15) in Bursa and hope to win that game.
